Modus Operandi: First and foremost, we play paintball because it is FUN.  Paintball is something that allows grown men and women to be kids again and lets kids learn the value of team play and discipline.  The second reason we play paintball, is for the camaraderie and team work that is developed in achieving the common goal, "eliminate the opponent".  The third reason we play, is to show the youth that us old guys can still "kick it" with the best of them, even though we must nurse our soreness later on that evening.  Team Old Man Militia promotes fun, safe and fair play.

Words to play by: You can make life a lot harder on your team by giving them bad strategy, to be sure.  But, even a poor plan, if executed by coordinated squads, stands a good chance of winning against walk-ons.  Team coordination trumps every other area of advantage by a long shot.  However, if your players aren't following the plan and the Commander's direction, then that advantage is quickly lost. Most paintball players follow direction poorly and that is the downfall of most teams.  Paintballers are undisciplined, action junkies who resist playing coordinated 'ball.  That doesn't change the fact, however, that a coordinated team will usually win.  If the team is to win, the Commander must enroll his players into the idea of working as a coordinated, responsive, command-following team.  There is no other way (unless you want to go back to walk-on 'ball.)
